Luka Doncic and the Mavericks' offense was historic most of the time and horrible when it mattered most. How is that possible, and is there a fix beyond "make more shots?"

Definitely expect to see all that stuff. Wouldn’t surprise me to see more full court pressure on Luka. You do have to be careful because Dallas will use the same alignment for different kinds of cuts, so they might anticipate your early switches
I just got around to reading this...and I wonder if you think that this explains much of Dallas' early struggles this year. If Dallas is super-dependent on getting into a rhythm, would explain why they struggle with COVID absences, plus the way that Richardson/Finney-Smith shooting so poorly creates "record scratching" in the offensive flow
